Five months after our last update, construction is all but complete for a new office complex just northwest of Metro's Expo/La Brea Station.
The project from Los Angeles-based Center Capital Partners, LLC located at 5237 W. Jefferson Boulevard, consists of a three-story structure featuring 72,000 square feet of offices above subterranean parking for 185 vehicles.
Abramson Architects designed the building, which has offset floor plates and a modern exterior of glass and metal. The structure is capped by a large rooftop amenity deck.
A profile promoting the office space for rent on LoopNet indicates that the property would be available for tenants as early as September 4 of this year. The building has floor plates between 23,000 and 24,000 square feet in size, with asking rates of $66 per square foot.
The project is one of a handful of new infill office developments built in West Adams over the past three years, the bulk of which were completed by CIM Group. Mid-Wilshire-based CIM broke ground earlier this year on a similar 32,000-square-foot building a half-mile north near the intersection of Adams and Redondo Boulevards.
