One block east of Redondo Boulevard in West Adams, a single-story commercial building has made way for yet another project from prolific Mid-Wilshire-based developer CIM Group.
The new project, which recently began work at 5252 W. Adams Boulevard, will consist of a three-story building featuring offices atop ground-floor commercial space and a two-level basement parking garage. According to a leasing profile for the property on LoopNet, the finished building is expected to include just over 32,600 square feet of space for rent.
64North is designing the low-rise building, which is portrayed in renderings as with a contemporary exterior of white concrete. The building would have offset floor plates, providing space for a sheltered area at the ground floor, as well as terrace decks on the levels above.
The leasing profile lists the property as available for occupancy in Summer 2024.
CIM Group has made headlines for its dozens of projects in the West Adams and adjacent Jefferson Park neighborhoods, centered on the commercial corridors of Adams, Crenshaw Boulevard, and Western Avenue. Its portfolio of projects includes new offices, large apartment buildings, and even a hotel.
