In North Hills, developer Hollywood Community Housing Corp. has started welcoming residents to its new affordable housing complex just off of Sepulveda Boulevard.
The Luna Vista apartments, located at 8767-8773 Parthenia Place, consists of a four-story building featuring 73 one- and two-bedroom apartments atop an underground parking garage.
The apartments include permanent supportive housing catering to renters earning up to 30 percent of the area median income level, as well as general low-income households earning between 40 and 50 percent of the area median income level.

Brooks + Scarpa designed the contemporary low-rise structure, which is highlighted by a large opening carved into the front facade, exposing an interior courtyard.
Luna Vista is among a handful of large affordable housing developments built along the Sepulveda corridor in North Hills, following Meta Housing Corp.'s 356-unit Mission Gateway complex.
