Seven months after we last checked in, construction continues to progress for Lennar Corporation's Woodhaven condominiums in Alhambra

Located near the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Marengo Avenue, the project is rising on a site previously occupied by a retirement community.

Lennar, which purchased the land for $33 million in 2018, is building out 125 single-family homes in a mix of three- and four-bedroom floor plans.  Per a sales website for the project, asking prices for Woodhaven start in the low $800,000s.

Woodhaven composes more than 3/4 of the footprint of the now-demolished retirement community, which is also entitled for the development of a new skilled nursing facility, medical offices, and retail space.  However, the remaining components of the approved project have yet to begin construction.
