A 1920s single-family home just in Eagle Rock could make way for a new small lot development, according to an application submitted last month to the L.A. Department of City Planning.
Modus Development, LLC, identified as the applicant behidn the project at 2436 Ridgeview Avenue, is seeking approvals to raze the existing 960-square-foot structure to clear the way for a new project consisting of five new single-family residences.
Vanos Architects is designing the project, which would rise just west of Eagle Rock Boulevard. Renderings depict a contemporary design with an exterior of concrete and metal siding, as well as two-car garages at street level and roof decks above.
Findings included with the application indicate that the layout of the houses are consistent with local zoning and design reguilatiosn for the site.
The development site less than a mile north of Arla, a 38-unit small lot subdivision located at 4515 Eagle Rock Boulevard, and a short distance west of Occidental College.
