Four small lot houses coming to 4043 W. Sunset Dr. in Los Feliz

Developer Assen Homes, Inc. has refiled plans for a small lot subdivision in Los Feliz after pre-pandemic approvals expired.

The proposed project at 4043 W. Sunset Drive, slated to replace 112-year-old home, each featuring three bedrooms above a two-car garage.

Architect Anthony Mendoza of AMArchitect is designing the houses, which are depicted in plans as contemporary three-story structures capped with rooftop patios.

The project site is located a short walk east from the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Hollywood Boulevard, where a mixed-use apartment complex is set to rise next to the Vista Theatre.
