The property, located at 1031 W. Magnolia Avenue, is being developed by property owner Steve Stapakis. Requested approvals would permit the construction of four townhomes, each featuring three bedrooms on its upper levels and a two-car garage on the ground floor.

David M. Parker is listed as the architect for the project, which is named Gardena Havens.

The same project team had previously sought to develop the site with six townhomes, per a Planning Commission staff report.

Stapakis was also attached to a project across Vermont Avenue in the City of Los Angeles, which includes 22 small lot homes that are currently listed for rent.
