A recent community presentation unveils new renderings of 100 Corporate Pointe Walk, a large mixed-use development planned in Culver City's Fox Hills neighborhood.
The project from Alliance Residential, named for the office building that it would replace at 100 Corporate Pointe, calls for the construction of a five-to-seven-story building featuring 351 residential units and 4,742 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and parking for 542 vehicles.
Alliiance Residential would set aside 30 of the new apartments as deed-restricted affordable housing, opening the project up to density bonus incentives to permit a larger structure than would have otherwise been allowed by zoning rules.
KFA Architecture and MJS Landscape Architecture comprise the design team for the wrap-style building, which will have a contemporary look and a retail plaza fronting Buckingham Parkway to the south. Courtyards and walk-up units would line the property's ground level.
The proposed project is one of five large developments slated to reshape the Fox Hills area in the coming years, potentially bringing more than 3,000 new homes to the neighborhood. Similar projects are also in the works for a nearby block bounded by Uplander Way and Hannum Avenue.
Other recent Alliance Residential projects in the Los Angeles area include a mixed-use building which opened last year in Downtown Long Beach.
