At its meeting on October 14, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved loans of up to $35 million for the construction of six affordable housing developments in Claremont, the City of Los Angeles, and unincorporated communities.

The County funding will be leveraged with other sources to pay for the six projects, which have a combined budget of more than $341 million. When completed, they are expected to generate a combined 529 homes.
