Near the intersection of Santa Monica and Beverly Glen Boulevards in West Los Angeles, wood framing is complete of a new mixed-use apartment complex from developer David Hanasab.

The project, located at 10425-10431 Santa Monica Boulevard, a five-story, 67-foot-tall building containing 43 apartments  atop ground-floor commercial space and a parking garage.

Project approvals included Transit Oriented Communities affordable housing incentives, permitting a larger structure than zoning rules would normally allow in exchange for the provision of five units of extremely low-income affordable housing.

City records indicate that Mika Design Group is designing the mixed-use project.

Hanasab, in addition to the Santa Monica Boulevard development, is also planning an infill housing development nearby at 10605 Eastborne Avenue.
