A mixed-use development now taking shape just south of the Beverly Center will be dubbed "Apres Beverly Grove," general contractor Build Group, Inc. announced earlier this year.

The project, located at 400 S. San Vicente Boulevard, which is being developed by The Abraham Companies, calls for the construction eight-story building featuring 124 apartments atop 11,600 square feet of commercial space and a three-level, 153-car subterranean parking garage. The project will include five penthouse units.

As a condition of approval for density bonus incentives granted by the City of Los Angeles, 14 apartments are to be set aside for rent as deed-restricted affordable housing at the very low-income level.

Steinberg Hart is the architect for Apres, headlining a design team that also includes Rodrigo Vargas Design and MJS Landscape Architecture. The contemporary mid-rise building will also include 6,200 square feet of open space in the form of amenities such as a pool deck and spa, a resident lounge, and a fitness center.

According to Build Group, which was recently selected as the project's general contractor, completion of Apres is on track to occur in mid-2027.
