The proposed development from Holos Communities, slated to replace a parking lot at 828 Anaheim Street, would consist of interconnecting five-story buildings containing 50 two-bedroom apartments - one of which would be set aside for an on-site manager.

LOHA is designing the contemporary low-rise structure, which would feature buildings with pitched roofs and metal exteriors.

The new development is one of two which Holos Communities has planned in the Wilmington neighborhood. A sister project, slated to replace a parking lot at 728 Lagoon Avenue, would create 39 additional apartments.

Holos recently completed work on another striking supportive housing development in Panorama City, and has plans for a high-rise building in Long Beach.
