A Planning Department notice offers a first glimpse of a proposed small lot subdivision with ocean views in San Pedro.
The proposed project, planned just northwest of the Cabrillo Way Marina at 1661 Crescent Avenue and 1627 Beacon Street, calls for the construction of 11 single-family homes with 25 parking spaces on what is now a vacant property.
An application filed with the Planning Department in May 2023 indicated that one of the new homes would be set aside as affordable housing at an unspecified income level.
City records indicate that R&D Architects is designing the new houses, which would range up to two stories in height.
Likewise, Rupesh Lunia of Redondo 100, LLC is listed as the owner and applicant behind the proposed development.
