Los Angeles-based developer Category Company has completed work on the Matteson Flats a new co-living apartment complex just south of Venice Boulevard in Mar Vista.
The four-story building, which replaced a trio of single-family homes located at 12602-12610 Matteson Avenue, features a total of 15 apartments above one level of basement parking.
Bittoni Architects designed the contemporary low-rise structure, which is clad in brick, and features amenities such as a rooftop deck, a courtyard, and a recreation room. The apartments also feature private balconies.
Monthly rents for the property's co-living apartments, which are managed by the New York-based company Common, are advertised as ranging between $1,633 and $2,078 per month.
The project is one of a number of projects built by Category Company and operated by Common, including similar developments in Larchmont, East Hollywood, and Del Rey.
