Just off of Vermont Avenue in Koreatown, work is just about finished for something we don't see much of these days: new condominiums.

Mosaika, developed by EGC Real Estate Group is complete, is located at 904 S. New Hampshire Avenue. The project consists of an eight-story building featuring 63 one- and two-bedroom dwellings above at-grade and subterranean parking for 52 vehicles. Per a landing page on the EGC website, the units have an average size of 865 square feet, and are designed to allow natural lighting.

Signage displayed on the exterior of the building indicates that sales prices start at $499,000.

ECG entitled the site using Transit Oriented Communities incentives, which permitted a larger structure than allowed by zoning rules due to the site's location near transit. In exchange, seven of the homes will be set aside for purchase by below market-rate households at the extremely low-income level for a period of 55 years.

Bittoni Architects designed the contemporary mid-rise building, which features private balconies along its exterior and a large rooftop deck with views of the Downtown skyline.
