In Hollywood, construction is complete for a pair of multifamily residential buildings designed by Bittoni Architects.
The projects, both built by Category Company, sit across from one another a few blocks to the south of Sunset Gower Studios. Combined, they feature 38 apartments - four of which are to be set aside for very low- and extremely low-income households in exchange for Transit Oriented Communities and density bonus development incentives.
On the south side of the street at 5806 Lexington Avenue, a five-story building include 17 apartments above a 25-car garage. A grid-patterned facade overlooks Lexington Avenue, and a central atrium sits at the heart of the building.
Listed rents range from $1,087 to $3,500 per month.
North across the street at 5817 Lexington Avenue, the five-story Lex by Category includes 21 apartments in another five-story structure.
According to a leasing website, the property includes floor plans up to six bedrooms in size. Rents start at $1,412 for a single bedroom and range as high as $9,407 for an entire unit.
