A 1950s single-family home in North Hills could give way to multifamily housing, per a recent application to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.

The proposed development from property owner Milad Jashneih, slated for a site at 9335 Noble avenue, calls for the construction of a three-story seven-unit development consisting of rental townhomes. Plans also call for parking for 13 vehicles, according to the application.

Requested approvals included a density bonus incentive to permit waivers of certain zoning rules. One of the townhomes would have to be rented at below market rates in exchange for the incentives.

The Office for Collective Architecture is designing and representing the project before the city, according to findings included with the submittal.

City records indicate that the roughly 1,000-square-foot home last traded hands in 2022.

A similar project is in the works nearby at 9236 Burnet Street.
