A 1930s triplex overlooking the Los Angeles River in Silver Lake could make way for new small lot homes, per an application submitted earlier this month to the Planning Department.
Anat Attia, the West Hollywood-based applicant behind the project at 2649 Waverly Drive, is seeking city approvals to clear the approximately 13,300-square-foot property and redevelop it with six single-family homes.
Plans included with the entitlement application show the project as a collection of contemporary four-story buildings, each featuring three bedrooms plus an attached accessory dwelling unit.
AFD Studio is designing the project, per city records.
The proposed development sits directly adjacent to a 120-unit apartment complex now taking shape on a previously-vacant site fronting on Riverside Drive.
