An empty lot in El Sereno is poised for the construction of housing, according to an application submitted recently to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.
The project, located at 3274 N. Randolph Avenue, calls for subdividing the vacant property into six lots, each of which would be developed with a single family home.
Warren Techentin Architecture is designing the homes, each of which would stand three stories in height and be carved into the hillside.
Plans show exteriors of stucco and metal, with rooftop decks and two-car garages provided for each house.
City records list the project applicant as an executive with 4Site Real Estate, which previously worked with Techentin's firm on a multifamily residential building at the intersection of Monterey Road and Avenue 60 in Hermon.
