A 114-year-old single-family home just south of the Rowena Reservoir in Los Feliz could make way for a small lot subdivision, per an application submitted recently to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.
The project from applicant Saint George SLS, LLC, would rise from a site located at 2919 N. St. George Street. Plans call for razing the existing building, completed in 1910, to clear the way for six single-family dwellings, each featuring three bedrooms, a two-car garage, and a rooftop deck.
Plans included with the entitlement application depict a collection of three-story buildings arranged in a row.
The proposed development would rise a short walk of the Rowena Reservoir, a nearly 10-acre property which can appear to be a park from a distance, but is in fact an LADWP facility. City officials has previously considered taking steps to make usable open space of the property, which have failed to move forward.
