CIM Group has completed work on its latest mixed-use residential building in West Adams.
The project, located at 2599 Alsace Avenue, consists of a six-story building featuring 23 one- and two-bedroom apartments, all featuring in-unit washers and dryers.
Project approvals included Transit Oriented Communities incentives, permitting a larger building than otherwise allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, plans call for two of the apartments to be set aside as affordable housing at the extremely low-income level.
A leasing website advertises rents ranging from $2,199 to $3,799 per month for the market-rate apartments.
Hwangbo Architecture designed the stucco-clad building, which also includes a rooftop deck and a recreation room.
CIM Group has invested heavily in West Adams in recent years, building nearby properties such as the Alsace hotel and another recently-completed development at Adams Boulevard and Mansfield Avenue. CIM is also in the midst of construction of a 74-unit apartment complex with retail one block to the east at the intersection of Adams and Redondo Boulevard.
