Just north of the 91 Freeway in Artesia, construction is underway for a new townhome development from City Ventures.
The project, called Eginhouse, is rising from a site located on and around 11700 Arkansas Street to the west of Pioneer Boulevard. Plans call for a total of 59 townhomes in a mix of three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 1,342 to 1,899 square feet in size.
At the time of the project's approval, WHA was designing the contemporary three-story townhomes. Renderings show buildings arranged around a network of private roads, pedestrian paseos, and other landscaped spaces.

A project website advertises that the townhomes will also include ground-floor commercial space, planned along the northern perimeter of the site. Plans reviewed in 2022 indicated that a total of 4,544 square feet is proposed.
Sales prices for Eginhouse are advertised as starting in the high $700,000s.
The project could be followed by a similar 80-unit townhome complex proposed just south of the 91 freeway.
