Just east of Vermont Avenue in Los Feliz, a 1950s apartment building is set for redevelopment with affordable housing through the Executive Directive 1.

The proposed development at 4569 Finley Avenue, planned by Finley Holdings, LLC and SCAH-LA, calls for the construction of a new nine-story edifice featuring 86 studio and one-bedroom apartments with an eight-car garage.

As a fully affordable housing development, restricted to low-, very low-, and moderate-income households, the project would be eligible for density bonus incentives permitting a larger structure than typically allowed by zoning rules.

MVE + Partners is designing the project, which is portrayed in a rendering as a contemporary mid-rise structure.

If all of this sounds familiar - it should. SCAH-LA is also working with MVE + Partners on a larger affordable housing complex down the street at 4581 W. Finley Avenue.
