Orange County-based homebuilder City Ventures has plans for yet another townhome development in Santa Ana.
The company's latest project, as detailed in a report to the Santa Ana Planning Commission, would rise from a site at 125 and 205 S. Harbor Boulevard. Plans call for the construction of 36 single-family homes, including three live/work units fronting Harbor Boulevard. Plans call for three- and four-bedroom floor plans ranging from 1,352 to 1,610 square feet in size.
City Ventures is using state density bonus law to increase the overall size of the project, which will require four of the homes to be set aside for purchase by moderate-income buyers. A presentation by the developer indicates that expected pricing for the moderate-income homes would be in the mid $400,000s.
KTGY is designing the project, which would consist of three-story buildings with a central common area.
According to a community presentation, construction is expected to commence this year and be completed in 2026.
City Ventures recently went through the Santa Ana Planning Commission with a proposal for a similar townhome development at 520 N. Harbor Boulevard.
