An empty lot at the intersection of Cordova and Main Streets in Alhambra is up for redevelopment with housing, Intracorp Homes announced this month.
Cordova, which will rise at 801 E. Main Street, calls for the construction of 49 new homes - including nine single-family residents and 40 townhomes. Plans call for three-story single-family homes, averaging approximately 2,122 square feet in size with four bedrooms and rooftop decks. The townhomes will also stand three stories in height, ranging from 1,374 to 2,277 square feet in size, with two-, three-, and four-bedroom floor plans.
“We are beyond thrilled to break ground on Cordova, but we are especially proud to be the only production home developer to have a new for-sale project in the City of Alhambra since updating the new Housing Element and Zoning Codes,” says Intracorp vice president Rick Puffer in a statement.
Designed by WHA, Cordova will have Spanish-style architecture, with the project site broken up through paseos, pocket parks, and other open spaces.
The project is being developed as a joint venture between Intracorp and IHP Capital Partners. The two firms have previously developed housing with each other in Arcadia.
