In Arcadia, work is complete for  a new Hilton hotel just east of the Santa Anita Racetrack,  Azul Hospitality Group announced this week.

Hilton Arcadia Los Angeles, located at 123 W. Huntington Drive, consists of 173 guest rooms, as well as a restaurant space, meeting facilities, a ballroom. The project, which involved the adaptive reuse of a three-story office building, as well as the new construction of an attached six-story building, was developed by VG Properties.

Axis Architecture designed the hotel, which incorporates Art Deco elements inspired by the neighboring race track. The building includes the Hipico rooftop restaurant and bar, which is billed as the only such establishment in the City of Arcadia.

Other on-site dining options include 19 Seventy at the Ovalo Restaurant and Bar, as well as the sushi restaurant Sottaku by Kisen and Kaiseki Motoishi.

Opening rates for the Hilton start at $229 per night.

The Hilton is the second hotel in recent years to arrive at the doorstep of the Santa Anita Racetrack. In 2021, a 232-room Le Méridien opened directly across Huntington Drive. A third project, a 93-room Tempo by Hilton, is planned next door.
