Yet another Executive Directive 1 affordable housing development is coming to Del Rey, according to a new application unearthed using ATC.

The new project from Los Angeles-based developer Passo, calls for the construction of an eight-story building at 4129 Centinela Avenue featuring 73 studio and one-bedroom apartments without on-site parking.

The proposed development, which would replace surface parking and commercial buildings, relies on density bonus incentives to achieve the proposed building envelope. As such, the apartments are to be rented by low- and moderate-income households, save for a single market-rate manager's unit.

Aero Collective is designing the contemporary podium-type building, according to plans included with the filing. Plans show amenities including a community room and a rooftop terrace.

The project is the second affordable housing complex for Passo in Del Rey, coming roughly two months after the developer initiated plans for a similar project at 4706 Centinela Avenue.

The development site is located just south of Centinela's intersection with Washington Boulevard in Culver City, where work is slated to commence later this year for the long-delayed Culver Public Market.
