Construction is just about complete for a new mixed-use development Wiseman Residential in Palms.

Located at 3557 S. Motor Avenue, Motor Tides consists of a seven-story building featuring 104 apartments above ground-floor parking and commercial space. Three accessory dwelling units are currently being added to the building, creating 107 total homes.

According to a leasing website, monthly rents for the property range from $483 to $5,995 per month.

Those rents do not apply to deed-restricted affordable housing included in the building to make the project eligible for density bonus incentives to permit a larger structure than otherwise allowed by zoning.

 

Uriu & Associates is designing the apartment complex, according to city records. 

The project follows on the heels from a similar development by Wiseman at 3659 S. Motor Avenue, and sets the stage for a 200-unit building planned a short distance north by Wiseman at 3418 S. Motor Avenue.

Wiseman also has plans for two large developments along Venice Boulevard, including a 490-unit complex next to Metro's Culver City Station.
