A year-and-a-half after commencing work in Hollywood, construction is in full swing for yet another office complex from Bardas Investment Group.

Located at 1200 N. Cahuenga Boulevard, the project is named Echelon at 1200 Cahuenga for its address. The combination of new construction and rehabilitation of existing buildings will create a total of 75,000 square feet of offices, as well as parking for 156 vehicles and 500 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

West of West is designing 1200 Cahuenga, while House & Robertson is serving as executive architect and KSA as landscape architect. New buildings rise four stories in height, and are clad in materials including plaster, cement, wood panels, and tile. A central courtyard and a series of rooftop decks will provide open space for tenants.

The project recreates a familiar formula for Bardas, which recently built a similar campus one block north at 6344 Fountain Avenue, and is building an 80,000-square-foot project on Melrose Avenue.
