A half-year after our last update, wood framing is complete for the latest mixed-use development from CIM Group in West Adams.

Located on a corner lot at 5217 W. Adams Boulevard, the project consists of a six-story building that will feature 74 one- and two-bedroom apartments above approximately 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The complex also includes subterranean parking.

Project entitlements include Transit Oriented Communities incentives, permitting a larger structure than otherwise allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, six of the proposed apartments would be set aside for rent by extremely low-income households.

The 5217 Adams development is one of dozens of projects from CIM Group in the West Adams neighborhood, including similar apartment buildings at 5109 and 5201 Adams.
